Gary Coker has an incredible story to share! Back in November 2020, Gary was water detecting when he tragically lost his Nokta Pointer. Despite searching for it extensively, it was gone for good—or so he thought!
Fast forward 4 years and 1 week, Gary returned to the same area and got a nice signal. To his astonishment, it was his long-lost Nokta Pointer, buried under a layer of mud and submerged underwater all this time.
After drying it out, most of it is still functional—a true testament to the durability and quality of Nokta products.
This is the mail Gary sent us:
“Hi Nokta. Just wanted to share this amazing story with you. 22 November 2020 I was water detecting and somehow dropped my Nokta pin pointer, I looked for it for ages but it was tragically gone. Fast forward to yesterday when out detecting in the area I got a nice signal that ended up to be my Nokta pointer, I took it home, dried it out and amazingly most of it still works after 4 years and 1 week submerged underwater and a layer of mud. Congratulations on making such a tough machine I am truly impressed. I have pics and a video if you are interested in seeing it.”
